Reservation of accommodation and other services Reservation of accommodation and other services at Masaryková Chata and confirmation of this reservation by the responsible person is possible only in writing, i.e. usually by e-mail via the e-mail address ubytovani@masarykovachata.cz or via the internet form, available at www.masarykovachata.cz Either an automatic e-mail confirmation generated by the relevant online reservation system or an e-mail confirmation from the responsible person is considered a reservation confirmation. Masaryk's cottage is entitled to demand the payment of a deposit after the booked stay has been completed. Points 4 and 5 of these terms regulate the rules for returning or not returning the deposit. 2. Cancellation of reservation of accommodation and other services Cancellation of a confirmed reservation can also only be done in writing, i.e. usually by e-mail. When booking accommodation directly, an e-mail with a cancellation notification sent to the address ubytovani@masarykovachata.cz is considered to be a cancellation. When canceling a reservation that was entered through an external provider (e.g. Booking.com), the reservation must also be canceled through this external provider in the manner required by the external provider. In this case, a written notification to the directly responsible person of Masaryk's cottage in the Beskydy is NOT considered a proper cancellation of the reservation. 3. Change of reservation A request to change the reservation, i.e. the transfer of the ordered services in the original range to another date is considered to be the cancellation of the original reservation according to point 2 of these Terms and Conditions and is governed by the same regime as the cancellation of the reservation. 4. Cancellation fees When canceling a reservation according to points 2 and 3 of these conditions, Masaryk's cottage is entitled to cancellation fees under the following conditions, unless otherwise specified: cancellation fee 50% of the reservation price, if the reservation is canceled less than 90 days before the planned arrival or 100% from the price of the reservation, if canceled less than 14 days before the planned arrival. This procedure also applies to group reservations, i.e. reservations of several rooms. In the event that the customer reserves more than one room, and for any reason changes are made to such reservation, the above-mentioned deadlines and cancellation fees will apply. The customer undertakes to pay the invoiced cancellation fees if the above conditions are met, or they will be credited to the paid deposit. 5. Top datesMasaryk's cottage can establish a special regime of cancellation fees in the so-called top dates, i.e. the most attractive accommodation dates (e.g. New Year's Eve, Easter, etc.). In these special cases, Masaryk's cottage may require a 100% deposit to confirm the requested reservation. Such deposit is non-refundable. The following dates are considered top dates: 25 December – 2 January of the calendar year; All long weekends 6. Non-arrival of the client If the client does not board the accommodation on the reserved date and does not cancel his reservation in writing, the reservation is canceled and the provisions of point 4 of these Terms and Conditions apply. 7. Time of arrival at the accommodation(check-in) and clearing the room (check-out) Arrival at the accommodation (check-in) is possible from 4 p.m. usually until 8 p.m. When arriving later than 8 p.m., the guest is obliged to inform the Masaryk cottage team of this fact by e-mail or by phone and to communicate the estimated time of arrival. If the guest does not report a late arrival time, Masaryk's cottage cannot guarantee the availability of accommodation. Early check-in is possible if the reserved room is available, free of charge upon agreement with the Masaryk cottage team. The guest is obliged to vacate the room (check-out) by 10 a.m. on the last day of the valid reservation. Later vacating the room is only possible after prior agreement with the cottage team and is not guaranteed. These General Terms and Conditions are contractual and can be modified by another contract in special cases. 8. In the event of a violation of the accommodation rules (for example, a ban on smoking and handling fire, noise, disorder, etc.) during the stay, the operator is entitled to withdraw from the contract for the provision of accommodation services before the end of the agreed period with a cancellation fee of 100%. 9.
